CNC Machinist
Job Description
Adecco is hiring for experienced CNC Machinists on 2nd shift in Peabody, MA! These are temp to perm opportunities.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 230pm-1am
Pay rate: $28-35 an hour
Key Responsibilities
Setup and Operation: Install raw materials, tools, and fixtures into CNC mills, lathes, or grinders.
Programming: Read, interpret, and adjust G-code programs or use CAM software to set proper tool paths.
Quality Control: Measure finished parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify they match blueprint tolerances.
Maintenance: Monitor active production runs, fix minor programming or mechanical errors, and perform basic equipment upkeep.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical Knowledge: Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and geometric dimensioning (GD&T).
Math and Computer Skills: Solid math background for calculating dimensions, plus comfort using computer numerical controls.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
