Bonus Information: Experienced Registered Nurses (2+ years in acute care) can receive up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus, while new graduate RNs are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Specific eligibility criteria and payout details will be discussed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, patient-centered care in a dynamic Emergency Department (ED) setting. This role involves direct patient care, rapid assessments, triage, emergency responses, and critical clinical decision-making.
- Provide direct patient care within the Emergency Department (ED)
- Conduct rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care
- React to acute changes, trauma, and life-threatening situations
- Analyze lab results, diagnostics, and patient symptoms
- Communicate patient conditions to physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
- Educate patients and their families on care and discharge procedures
- Ensure adherence to EMTALA, HIPAA, and patient safety regulations
- Report any suspected abuse or neglect as per regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Education, Experience, and Training:
- Valid RN License in the state
- Current BLS certification upon hire and ongoing maintenance
- ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained
- PALS certification and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification within 30 days of hire
- At least one year of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital; emergency room experience preferred
- Certification as an Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- If in a Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN certification within 12 months of hire and ongoing maintenance
- For EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric courses 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire
- For non-OB facilities: NRP certification within 90 days of hire and ongoing maintenance
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire
