Opportunity Overview
- Position Type: 1.0 FTE (flexible)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Location: Muskegon, MI
- Specialty: Diabetes & Endocrinology
- Hospital Information: On-call support for Grand Rapids and Muskegon hospitals
- Team Composition: Muskegon includes 2 Endocrinologists, 1 DNP, and 5 support staff. The Grand Rapids office has 5 Endocrinologists, 4 APP/PAs, and 20 support staff (serving both locations), along with 2 CDCES RDs and 2 RN CDCES (accredited education program).
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - for Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
- Call Requirements: 6-7 weeks annually

Qualifications
- Open to both new graduates and experienced professionals
- Board certified in the relevant clinical specialty or must achieve certification within the timeframe set by the applicable specialty board.
- Required Fellowship: Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism
- Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
- DEA license
Responsibilities
A typical day may involve:
- Delivering direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities
- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health initiatives
