Job Description

  • School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year
  • Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services for students with communication disorders.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatic language, and other communication needs to improve academic and functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, administrators, and related service providers to develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education guidelines.
  • Caseload will be assigned based on district needs and student populations.
  • Ages served: Pre-K through 12th Grade
  • Additional details regarding school assignment and caseload will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist License (or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date)
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for fully licensed candidates
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Interview Process

  • 10–15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy recruiter
  • 20–30 minute virtual interview with the partnering school district
  • Offers are typically extended within 24–48 hours following the district interview
