Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Towson, MD

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff on student progress and intervention strategies
• Develop and implement targeted, evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Create and revise IEPs in adherence to federal, state, and district requirements
• Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Offer consultation and resources to school staff and families to support student communication goals
• Attend and participate in team meetings, professional development, and trainings as required
