\nA Maintenance Mechanic II (2nd Shift) position at Home Market Foods is a critical role within the maintenance department, reporting directly to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor and Maintenance Manager. This role involves executing preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems, including electronic controls, conveyor systems, production machinery, and support equipment. We currently have opportunities available for 2nd Shift (5:00pm to 5:15am on a 2-2-3 schedule.) On average, as a Mechanic II, you could expect to make $100,000/year!\n

\nEssential Qualifications:\n
\n
\n5+ years working as a Maintenance Mechanic. Preferably within the food manufacturing or pharma industry\n
\nMA Fireman 2 License and/or Ammonia Operator 1 Certification preferred but not required\n
\nPossession of a valid US Driver's License is mandatory\n
\nAble to work independently with demonstrated expertise in the proficient use of hand and power tools\n
\nThorough understanding and familiarity with cGMP/GMP standards and practices\n
\nExceptional interpersonal skills essential for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams\n
\nProven ability in time management, organizational prowess, and multitasking, with a strong aptitude for teamwork alongside fellow technicians and trade professionals\n
\n
\nPrimary Assignments:\n
\n
\nConduct advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical and electrical issues using technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics\n
\nExecute preventive maintenance procedures on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity\n
\nIndependently identify and rectify defective or worn components within machinery, ensuring uninterrupted production processes\n
\nStrict adherence to established safety protocols and regulations\n
\nMaintain a meticulously organized, safe, and efficient work environment conducive to productivity and safety\n
\nProvide guidance and coaching to Mechanic I associates to achieve shift objectives and project milestones effectively\n
\nUndertake any other duties or special projects as delegated\n
\n
\nSalary Range: $35–$42/hr (plus $1/hr shift differential)\n
