Step into a contract-based role supporting a dynamic school community as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year, you'll collaborate with educators and families to enhance student communication abilities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active or eligible state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based SLP settings preferred
- Solid knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders as they relate to the school environment
- Strong communication and organizational talents
- Commitment to providing individualized, evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 15-20 students, adapting to a variety of developmental and learning needs
- Conduct evaluations, write and maintain detailed progress notes, and develop Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families to support each student’s academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
