Our organization is actively looking for board-certified or board-eligible Obstetric Hospitalists to become part of our outstanding team of collaborative physicians in the Northern Illinois area!

Position Overview:

  • Location: Freeport, Illinois
  • Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-based
  • Focus: 100% inpatient care
  • Shift Schedule: Eight 24-hour shifts each month
  • Responsibilities include covering labor and delivery, including cesarean sections
  • Inpatient rounding and patient discharges
  • Collaboration with our Northwest Regional Perinatal Center and Level III NICU in Rockford, IL
  • Access to extensive multi-subspecialty referral networks
  • No on-call duties!
  • Utilization of EPIC electronic medical records
  • 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
  • A minimum of three years of inpatient experience is required
  • MD/DO board certified or board eligible
  • Proficient in delivering exceptional patient care
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $180.00
