Locums Hematologist/Oncologist Is Wanted in New Mexico
Job Description
While your dedicated recruiter will serve as your primary contact, they are supported by numerous specialized teams. Key Responsibilities- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with 9-hour shifts that include on-call duties.
- Manage a patient load of 17 per shift, with 1 hour allocated for new patients and 20 minutes for follow-ups.
- Provide care at a COC-accredited cancer center that offers clinical trials.
- Utilize an 18-bed chemotherapy suite located on-site.
- Participate in weekend 24-hour on-call duties, with shared night call responsibilities during weekdays.
- Prior experience in both inpatient and outpatient oncology care is essential.
- Supervision of midlevel providers is required.
- This is an ongoing assignment with numerous available dates.
