We are looking for a Dual-Site Assistant Property Manager for our Eastwood Ridge and Vista at South Broadway locations. Eastwood Ridge has 209 units and is located on the Southeast side of Rochester, MN. Vista at South Broadway has 228 units and is located on the Southwest side of Rochester, MN. As the Assistant Property Manager, you are responsible for providing assistance to the Property Manager with regard to the management of the multi-family apartment communities.\n

\nSchedule: Monday - Friday\n

\nResponsibilities:\n
\n(include, but are not limited to)\n
\n
\nAccept rental payments and post rent to YARDI\n
\nPrimarily leasing for the property as well as providing assistance to the leasing offices\n
\nMaintain accurate monthly commission sheets for bonus payments\n
\nAssume the Property Manager’s duties in the absence of the Property Manager\n
\nTour the property and target apartments/model\n
\nProcess applications for approval. Informs Property Manager of qualified/unqualified applicants. Follows-up with applicants regarding application status\n
\nType up leases and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner\n
\nConfirm that the apartment is ready for the resident to move in on the move in date\n
\nOrient new residents to the community\n
\nAssist in monitoring renewals. Distributes and follows-up on renewal notices\n
\nAnswer questions for residents about the community, work orders, rent, rules, etc.\n
\nEnsure all work orders are handled satisfactorily\n
\nAssist with enforcing policies and rules of the community\n
\n
\nMinimum Qualifications:\n
\n
\n3+ years of experience in property management preferred\n
\n1-2 years in an Assistant Property Manager role preferred\n
\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, some college-level education preferred\n
\nYARDI experience required\n
\nKnowledge of Fair Housing regulations\n
\nComputer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook\n
\n
\nPhysical Demands: The job is periodically sedentary, but requires mobility (i.e. climbing stairs or squatting) to tour\n
\nand inspect apartments/communities. Involves sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged\n
\nperiods of time and stooping for brief periods of time. There is some repetitive motion of the\n
\nhands and wrists associated with using a computer.\n
\n
