Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Washington SLP license (or eligibility/willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Required fingerprint clearance through OSPI (or willingness to complete this process)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, rapport-building, and organizational skills
- Dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusive student support
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and interventions for K-12 students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to foster student progress
- Document services and progress per school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and school-wide professional development
- Educate staff and families on communication disorders and strategies
- Maintain ethical standards and uphold confidentiality for all students
This contract opportunity is for 37.5 hours per week, beginning September 9, 2026, and concluding June 16, 2027.
