Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Oversee critical pharmacy operations specializing in home infusion therapies as a Pharmacy Manager in Los Angeles, CA. This direct hire opportunity requires a dynamic leader ready to manage daily functions, lead sterile compounding processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards within a home infusion setting.
Schedule & Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Schedule flexibility required, including administrative on-call duties
- Based in Los Angeles, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
- Lead, mentor, and manage pharmacists and technicians with responsibilities including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling
- Ensure compliance with all state pharmacy laws and USP compounding guidelines to maintain high-quality standards
- Collaborate clinically with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes in home infusion therapies
- Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and continuous performance improvement initiatives for the branch
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in California
- 3 to 7 years of clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings
- Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation
- Proven leadership abilities managing pharmacy teams
- Experience with CareTend pharmacy system is highly preferred
