Job Opportunity: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in the PACE program, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for seniors. In this role, you will play a vital part in implementing treatment strategies, facilitating therapeutic activities, and assisting participants in maintaining their independence in both home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute individualized treatment plans in collaboration with an Occupational Therapist.
  • Lead engaging therapeutic activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Support participants in performing daily tasks to foster independence.
  • Work alongside an interdisciplinary care team to monitor and document participant progress.
  • Provide education and resources to participants and their caregivers.
  • Adjust interventions based on the evolving needs of participants.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience working with older adults is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
