Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license (Arizona or eligible for reciprocity)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility to complete Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience delivering pediatric speech and language services within school settings strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals for each student
- Provide direct speech-language therapy tailored to each child’s needs
- Engage and educate families and teachers on strategies to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and case notes in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP reviews
