This full-time, onsite role involves working 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic, in-person environment—no virtual options. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State SLP License, or eligibility and willingness to obtain prior to start date
  • Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Fingerprinting through OSPI required or willingness to complete the process
  • Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively onsite, engaging directly with students and staff
  • Commitment to delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned school sites (high school, middle school, or elementary school, depending on placement)
  • Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and track student progress
  • Collaborate with general and special education teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain compliant documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support students of varying backgrounds and needs, fostering a positive learning environment
