\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n
\n
\nIncluding, but not limited to:\n
\n
\nAssist the Activities Director in enhancing and supporting the resident's intellectual, emotional and spiritual interests, talents, and hobbies with individual or group activities.\n
\n
\nAssist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of the facility.\n
\n
\nAssist in developing and planning the monthly program calendar.\n
\n
\nAssist in developing a written plan of care for each resident's activity program.\n
\n
\nParticipate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments.\n
\n
\nImplement activity procedures as directed by the Activity Director.\n
\n
\nAssist in scheduling programs, planning parties and providing games/activities for residents.\n
\n
\nEncourage residents to participate in activities of daily living that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally socially and spiritually.\n
\n
\nAll other duties as assigned.\n
\n
\nSKILLS\n
\n
\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n
\n
\nPrevious experience in long-term care or other healthcare settings is a plus.\n
\n
\nExperience working with Alzheimer's/Dementia patients a plus.\n
\n
\nExperience in Long Term Care\n
\n
\nMust be capable of maintaining regular attendance\n
\n
\nGood verbal and written communication skills\n
\n
\nMust be able to maintain confidentiality regarding employee, resident and company\n
\n
\nproprietary information\n
\n
\nMust have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families, and other employees at all levels\n
\n
\nMust possess computer skills of the types and at a level necessary to accomplish the job.\n
\n
