School Speech Language Pathologist - Peterborough, New Hampshire
Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language support across two vibrant elementary school buildings. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule (35-37.5 hours per week) for the academic year, from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027. Located near Peterborough, NH, you’ll join a dedicated special education team working collaboratively to support students’ communication development.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive speech therapy services focusing on language, speech, voice, and fluency needs.
- Design and implement remediation strategies using evidence-based practices.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress.
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other specialists.
- Support diverse student populations and advocate for inclusive educational practices.
- Maintain accurate records consistent with state and district requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Valid or eligible New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
- Clinical expertise supporting children with a range of communication disorders.
- Preferred experience in a school setting or working with elementary-aged students.
