Pain & Spine Physician
Job Description
Our organization is a physician-led, accountable multispecialty group practice with over 500 providers, presenting a remarkable opportunity to join our Comprehensive Pain & Spine Service. We are currently in search of a full-time physician to work at the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. The ideal candidate will oversee all facets of the traditional Comprehensive Pain & Spine clinic, including both in-clinic and hospital-based interventional procedures. A commitment to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care is essential. This role is suited for a physician trained in Anesthesia or Physiatry, with a fellowship in Interventional Spine. The position entails a full-time weekday schedule, with a call rotation of 1:6 in the Boise practice.
Support: Our team includes an Inpatient Pain APP team, a Level II Trauma Center in Boise, an Emergency Department, two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), clinical psychology services, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the Boise Clinic, along with an in-suite procedure room and dedicated staff.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program; board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) (or the ability to obtain this certification within three years of employment); or completion of an accredited physiatry residency program; board certification from the American Board of Physiatry (ABP) (or the ability to obtain this certification within three years of employment); and successful completion of an interventional spine fellowship.
- Current controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
- A minimum of two years of experience is preferred.
- Must obtain Idaho medical licensure and privileges at SARMC-Boise and other affiliated hospitals as required.
