Exciting Opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgeon

Location: Alton Memorial Hospital | Just 15 Minutes from St. Louis, MO

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to become part of a well-established and thriving team at Alton Memorial Hospital, conveniently situated near downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

Role Purpose

The primary responsibility is to ensure optimal patient care and safety for those admitted to the assigned service, collaborating closely with attending staff and nursing teams while maintaining communication with patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the medical care of assigned patients.

  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.

  • Conduct and document patient histories and physical examinations as mandated by hospital regulations.

  • Supervise and mentor medical students and residents assigned to the service, addressing their educational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Doctorate in Medicine

Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience

Supervisory Experience

  • No prior supervisory experience required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensed Physician
