\nWhat we are looking for:\n
\n
\nThe Area Manager is responsible for owning daily service delivery within a designated market or territory. This includes managing Contractor Partner (CP) performance, ensuring high service quality, and acting as the frontline problem-solver for field execution and escalations. The role also includes contractor training on company standards and support of field launches, including New Store Openings (NSOs), to ensure compliance and readiness from day one.\n

\nThe Area Manager will be responsible for the NJ market areas. Position requires availability for evenings and overnight shifts as dictated by business or client demands. Ca\n

\n Candidate must reside in the Paramus, NJ area.\n
\n
\nKey Responsibilities:\n
\n
\nService Execution & Oversight\n
\nConduct routine site visits during service times to observe contractor performance.\n
\nCheck that services meet company standards and address any issues on-site.\n
\nComplete regular quality surveys at client site locations, with a focus on locations where we hold service contracts, to ensure compliance, service quality, and client satisfaction.\n
\nBuild and maintain positive relationships with site managers, acting as key point of contact for service-related issues.\n
\nStay informed about NSOs in your market and attend initial NSO visits to ensure services are set up properly from the start.\n
\nRespond quickly to any service issues sites report and provide solutions.\n
\nUnderstand the history and service background of each site to help anticipate needs and maintain consistency.\n
\nMonitoring & Escalation\n
\nRecord all performance-based contractor interactions, site visits, complaint resolutions, and surveys in Waves.\n
\nEnsure your notes are clear, complete, and up to date.\n
\nManage all site visits at least 2 weeks prior, utilizing calendar in WAVES.\n
\nManage all open RTS records assigned to you and close accordingly when resolved.\n
\nKeep the market team updated with clear and timely communication.\n
\nActively engage in regular market team discussion to stay aligned on goals, priorities, contractor performance, and escalations.\n
\nBuild strong, trusting relationships with office-based market team members.\n
\nCommunicate openly and frequently to ensure smooth coordination, share field updates, and work together to solve issues.\n
\nContractor Partner (CP) Engagement\n
\nBuild strong, professional relationships with contractors (CPs) to ensure consistent communication and performance.\n
\nStay familiar with all CPs in your area/market—their strengths, availability, and capabilities.\n
\nOffer recommendations to the market team when a specific service need arises.\n
\nEnsure CPs understand and meet our quality standards.\n
\nWork directly with the CP to resolve the issue or plan for rework.\n
\nStep in when CPs are unresponsive or if complaints arise.\n
\nProvide coaching and guidance to help CPs succeed with our processes.\n
\nAssist in evaluating new CPs during onboarding.\n
\nAssess their cleaning experience, equipment, and skills to determine what services they can handle effectively.\n
\nActively recruit potential new CPs. Complete a new CP LEAD survey as directed.\n
\nEnsure all assigned CPs fully understand recurring service scopes\n
\nMaintain real-time visibility into CP performance metrics.\n
\nMarket Reporting\n
\nMonitor Dashboard data to improve market efficiency.\n
\nIdentify performance trends and recurring service issues; escalate to leadership as needed.\n
\nProvide weekly updates on contractor compliance, service outcomes, and market conditions.\n
\n
\n Special Projects\n
\n
\nTake on additional responsibilities or special projects as required.\n
\nProvide assistance to others within and outside the department based on evolving business needs.\n
\n
\n Knowledge & Skill Requirements\n
\n
\n1-3 years in field operations, service delivery, or contractor/vendor management\n
\nStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills\n
\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment\n
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n
\nProficiency in field reporting tools and performance tracking software\n
\nWillingness to travel within the assigned territory and maintain an active driver’s license\n
\nMust be willing and able to work evenings and overnights when required.\n
\nExperience in facilities management, retail operations, or a related field\n
\nExperience with onboarding, training, or contractor management systems\n
\nBilingual (Spanish/English) a plus\n
