Position: Operating Room Technician

Daily Compensation: Up to $910.00 to $1,120.00 gross pay

Key Responsibilities

The Operating Room Technician plays a crucial role in preparing sterile supplies and instruments for each procedure. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a sterile field during surgical cases
• Providing the surgeon with necessary sterile supplies and instruments throughout assigned procedures

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

1. A High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience is required for new hires as of April 2014.
2. Completion of an Operating Room Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in a surgical environment).
3. Experience in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across general surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General Surgery, and Plastics).
4. Experience in scrubbing for at least minor procedures in specialized surgical areas (e.g., Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Urology, etc.).
5. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA upon hire, with maintenance of current status required.
6. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician is essential.

Compensation Transparency

Our organization offers competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this role between $65.00 and $80.00. This estimate is specific to New Jersey and may vary based on geographic location. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
