Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. With four openings available, you’ll play a key role in fostering communication development in a school-based setting near Spanaway, WA. This position is part-time, requiring 7.5 hours per week, with a manageable caseload of 45-50 students. Please note that these roles are entirely on-site—remote or hybrid options are not offered.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Prior experience in school settings is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with a range of communication disorders and therapy techniques for school-aged populations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • A passion for helping students achieve their individual communication goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in line with students' IEP goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide direct therapy and track outcomes to ensure effective interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student planning
