Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Expertise in school-based speech therapy practices
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented approach to documentation and progress tracking

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in an onsite setting
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Conduct evaluations and regular progress monitoring using evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social communication goals
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining thorough and accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students
  • Provide guidance and resources to support staff and caregivers
