Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Washington State certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience supporting students with diverse disabilities in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
- Passion for empowering middle school learners and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to IEP goals
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and school-based teams
- Monitor and document student progress, regularly communicating updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success
- Create a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all students
