\nCarolina Poly, Inc. in Chester, SC, is currently seeking Industrial Electricians to join our team. Carolina Poly produces several lines of polyethylene products including high-quality trash bags and construction films. Carolina Poly is a new facility that is part of an established nationwide manufacturing company that can provide growth and advancement opportunities.\n

\nResponsibilities:\n
\n
\nIndustrial Electricians at Carolina Poly are responsible for the maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and modification of new and existing industrial converting equipment. This role will document, recommend, and execute maintenance procedures.\n
\n
\nThe Electrician will be working in a manufacturing maintenance team. Tasks include electrical wiring, electrical power-up, troubleshooting, and verification of machine settings and functions. At times they will complete the mechanical testing and preventative maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.\n

\nQualifications:\n
\n
\nThe ideal candidate will possess:\n
\n
\nAC 3 phase motors and motor controls.\n
\nAC/DC single phase motors and controllers including servo drive systems.\n
\nPLC and relay logic controls in various manufacturing equipment.\n
\nEquipment communications protocols.\n
\nElectrical power distribution systems.\n
\nPneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.\n
\nInstalling and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.\n
\nFollowing electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.\n
\nUsing hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.\n
\nA strong desire to be hands on with their work and to follow processes through.\n
\nProblem solving skills include troubleshooting of electrical problems and mechanical functions.\n
\nThe aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Carolina Poly processes, equipment, and procedures.\n
\n
