Production Operator

Our client in the plastics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the extrusion and color concentrate production processes. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator

Location: New Hope, MN

Position Type: 1-Year Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM; Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate extrusion equipment to produce color concentrates according to specifications.
• Monitor production processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met.
• Weigh ingredients and manage material handling to meet recipe requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Document production data and maintain system inputs for quality assurance and reporting.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year experience in plastics, manufacturing, or related industrial operations
• Experience with extrusion, blending, or mixing processes preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly and handle up to 250 pounds occasionally
• Strong attention to safety protocols and ability to work in a noisy, humid environment
