Gastroenterology - Physician - Syracuse, NY

Our organization is actively searching for Gastroenterology Physicians to join a Hospitalist Model for our new service at St. Joseph's Health located in Syracuse, NY.

• Function as a GI Hospitalist, offering inpatient consultations and conducting procedures.
• Engage with a comprehensive health system that is part of a major multi-institutional Catholic healthcare network.
• Work on a 7 on-7 off schedule.
• Administration is highly supportive of the growth and vision of the GI department.
• Access to a vast network of primary care and specialty physicians.
• Current call schedule involves one weekend per month, with affiliated groups covering evenings and weekends.
• The average hospital inpatient volume is 15-20 patients, with 3-7 new consultations daily.
• Opportunities for resident education and clinical research are available.

The practice aims to develop and enhance expertise in the following areas:

• Advanced Endoscopy, including EUS with therapeutics, Advanced ERCP techniques, EMR/ESD, and enteroscopy.
• Inflammatory bowel disease management.
• Hepatology (non-transplant).
• Esophageal and rectal manometry.

Our organization provides an outstanding compensation and benefits package, which includes:

• Sign-on Bonus.
• The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance along with other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with state regulations and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
