Job Summary and Qualifications\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are seeking an Admission Registered Nurse. You will direct, facilitate, and coordinate admissions to our facility. \nWhat you will do in this role:
\n\n- \n
- You will initiate the nursing component of the Interdisciplinary Assessment for all new admissions. \n
- You will review transferring information from other facilities and assimilates that with assessment data to assist team members to develop the plan of care. \n
- You will act as a liaison with admissions, pharmacy, acute care facilities and other departments to facilitate a smooth admission process. \n
- You will evaluate all scheduled admissions for appropriateness. \n
- You will make bed assignments for new admissions and transfers. \n
- You will coordinate the patient's care and identified needs with other services and departments throughout the hospital. \n
- You will coordinate transfer of patients between hospitals. \n
Requirements:
\n\n- \n
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire. \n
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. \n
- One to two years’ experience with an acute care facility. \n
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. \n
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills \n
