*About the Role*\n

\nWe are looking for a skilled and dependable *Post-Molding Operator* to join our foundry team. This role is essential in the finishing stages of the casting process, where you’ll handle aluminum castings after molding to ensure they meet quality, dimensional, and customer specifications.\n
\n

\n*Key Responsibilities*\n
\n
\n* Perform a range of post-molding finishing operations such as cutting, grinding, benching, blasting, targeting, and straightening\n
\n* Remove gating, risers, flash, and other excess material from castings\n
\n* Follow written job procedures and Work Instructions to meet quality and safety standards\n
\n* Set up and safely operate tools, machines, and fixtures (e.g., band saws, grinders)\n
\n* Use measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances\n
\n* Inspect castings for defects or nonconformance and take corrective action\n
\n* Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all safety and housekeeping policies\n
\n* Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity and process flow\n
\n
\n*What We’re Looking For*\n
\n
\n* High School Diploma or GED required\n
\n* 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment preferred\n
\n* Basic math, reading, and measurement skills\n
\n* Ability to read and follow written instructions and job-specific procedures\n
\n* Strong attention to detail and safety\n
\n* Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs, wear PPE, and work in a foundry environment with heat, dust, and noise\n
\n
\n*Work Environment & Physical Demands*\n
\n
\n* Exposure to heat, dust, noise, vibration, and moving machinery\n
\n* Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion\n
\n
\n· Use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and metatarsal boots\n
\n
\n*Salary*: We offer TOP PAY for experience $24.67 to $28.67 per hour, depending on qualifications\n
\n
\n*Hours*: We have two shifts 1st 6:00 am to 2:00 pm and\n
\n2nd 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm plus $1.00 shift differential\n
\n
