- The Registered Nurse is accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, which includes patient care and the management of staff assigned to their care.
- This role may involve serving as Charge Nurse, with accountability for professional nursing practices.
- Compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations is essential to ensure patient safety and adherence to standards.
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or Nursing Diploma.
- A valid New Mexico Nursing license or a compact license (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- BLS certification must be secured within 14 days of hire or transfer into this position, prior to delivering direct patient care.
- The hiring department may also require ACLS and/or PALS certifications.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the specialty area.
- Two years of general nursing experience.
