Adecco is working with a leading manufacturer in Sutton, MA! We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician. This is a temp to hire opportunity on 1st shift.
Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Sutton, MA
Pay Range: $19 - $23 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday - 6:15AM - 3:30PM, Friday 7:00AM - 12:00PM
Responsibilities Include:
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components.
• Use analog, digital, and electronic calipers, micrometers, durometers, vision systems, laser measurement systems, and other inspection equipment.
• Write inspection programs for automated metrology equipment, including vision and laser-based systems.
• Execute sampling plans, inspection plans, tool verifications, and customer-specific quality requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical documentation, procedures, and inspection specifications.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, electronic records, training documentation, corrective action reports, and other quality records.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials and quarantine rejected products when required.
• Participate in Material Review Board meetings, CAPA investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support process improvements designed to prevent defects and ensure quality throughout the production process.
• Perform incoming, visual, and dimensional inspections as needed.
• Maintain organized quality work areas in accordance with Lean and 6S principles.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality policies, and lockout/tagout requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Quality-related certifications preferred.
• Previous quality control, inspection, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, vision systems, or similar measurement tools preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Basic math skills, including decimals and metric-to-standard conversions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on, high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 6S, CAPA, material lot control, and ERP systems is beneficial.
• CAD software experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
