Job Description
Step into an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract role begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, serving a diverse and engaging caseload near the beautiful Galveston area.
Your workday will focus on delivering meaningful evaluations, managing IEPs, and supporting students’ communication and language development. As an integral member of the educational team, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to help students reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- TX Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (CCC required)
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Comfortable conducting assessments, leading therapy sessions, and overseeing IEP process
- Strong organizational abilities and clear, compassionate communication skills
- Adaptability and a collaborative mindset
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and document progress
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
- Maintain detailed records in accordance with regulatory and district guidelines
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
