Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR, ARMRIT, or equivalent)
- Active, unrestricted credential/license for MRI in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of advanced MRI imaging techniques and protocols
- Experience with MRI safety procedures for patients and staff
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and colleagues
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on MRI experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Follow prescribed protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain high-quality images
- Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to industry safety standards and facility procedures
- Remain up-to-date on advances and best practices in MRI imaging
