Job Description

This contract position is designed for an experienced SLP to provide coverage during a maternity leave. Working with a supportive interdisciplinary team, you’ll help students ages 5-11 develop their communication skills, setting them up for long-term success.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Possess GaPSC SLP Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged children, is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Position Highlights:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Contract dates: ASAP through approximately October 2nd, 2026
- Caseload includes elementary students, ages 5-11
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to meet students’ unique needs
- Implement and document evidence-based interventions, IEPs, and progress reports
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ speech and language development
