Service Line Highlights

Compensation and Incentives

Position Details

  • Current hospitalist coverage includes two weekdays each week and all weekends.

  • The hospital aims to provide complete weekday night and weekend coverage for the generalist teams within the next six months.

  • Call schedule is 1:7, with a backup weekend call of 1:6.

  • A typical work week consists of:

    • One call day.

    • A post-call day off if you are the primary overnight coverage; otherwise, if serving as backup, you will have an AM-only office schedule post-call.

    • 2.5 to 3 office days.

    • At least 0.5 day in the operating room.

  • We collaborate on all major GYN surgeries and have robotic surgery capabilities.

  • Our team values family and fosters a collaborative environment.

  • We share the OB volume, including a number of high-risk cases.

  • Current OBGYN residents will receive a monthly stipend until the position start date.

Our healthcare facility is a non-profit, physician-led hospital and serves as the largest employer in the region. We benefit from a substantial private endowment that ensures our financial stability. We provide healthcare services to approximately 300,000 residents across seven counties, including Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Saluda, McCormick, Edgefield, and Newberry. Our medical group comprises 60 primary care physicians, 53 specialists, and 44 hospital-based physicians.
