Optometrist

We are looking for a full or part time Optometrist in both Enfield, CT and Holyoke, MA to perform eye tests and provide excellent eye care to our patients. Honestly a fun place to work with good people! Note that to be considered for this position, you need to be a licensed Optometrist.\n

\n*Responsibilities*\n
\n
\n* Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests\n
\n* Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism and glaucoma\n
\n* Provide personalized temporary and permanent solutions to sight issues based on each patient’s specific case and medical history\n
\n* Prescribe medications, eyeglasses and contact lenses\n
\n* Advise patients on proper eye care techniques\n
\n* Keep updated and accurate medical records for all patients\n
\n* Book next appointments in cases where re-examination is required\n
\n* Train patients on how to use and maintain their contact lenses\n
\n* Refer eye doctors and ophthalmologists when patients need to undergo a surgery or in cases of severe eye injuries\n

\n* Work experience as an Optometrist\n
\n* In-depth understanding of eye conditions and vision defects\n
\n* Hands-on experience with eye examination tools, such as ophthalmoscope and tonometer\n
\n* The ability to explain medical terms simply and calmly\n
\n* Attention to detail\n
\n* Degree in Optometry\n
\n
