Qualifications & Experience:
- Possess current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Hold GaPSC SLP Educator Certification
- Certification as CCC-SLP is required
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to identify communication disorders and develop tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support student achievement and inclusion
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to a diverse elementary caseload
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and comply with all state and district requirements
