Ideal qualifications and experience:

  • Holds or eligible for SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLPA credentials
  • Background in school-based speech therapy, pediatric care, or teletherapy strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and application of best practices for elementary-aged caseloads
  • Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), progress monitoring, and collaborating with educators and families
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills
  • Adaptable to diverse student needs and therapy delivery modes (in-person or virtual)

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students as assigned
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and goal-setting
  • Coordinate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student progress
  • Monitor and report outcomes, adapting interventions as needed
  • Maintain compliance with state and district requirements
