Role: Operating Room Technician
Location: Redding, CA

Available Shifts: Per Diem - Daytime
Daily Compensation: Up to $910.00 to $1,120.00 gross pay

The Operating Room Technician plays a vital role in preparing sterile instruments and supplies for each procedure, ensuring the maintenance of a sterile environment during surgeries, and providing necessary sterile items to the surgeon throughout the procedures.
QualificationsEducation, Experience, and Training
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience is required for new hires as of April 2014.
- Completion of an Operating Room Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job training with at least 3 years of experience (preferably in a surgical environment).
- Experience in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across general surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General Surgery, and Plastics).
- Experience in scrubbing for at least minor procedures in specialized surgical fields (e.g., Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Urology, etc.).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician is mandatory.
Our organization offers competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this position being $65.00 to $80.00. This estimate is specific to New Jersey and has not been adjusted for other locations. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
