Position Title: CT Technologist

Location: Monmouth Medical Center

Department: Cat Scan

Job Status: Hourly

Shift: Evening

Salary Range: $47.67 - $56.74 per hour

Pay Transparency:

The stated hourly wage range is applicable for this role if employed in New Jersey.

The final compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The CT Technologist will deliver patient services utilizing diagnostic CT scanning equipment. This role requires proficiency in generating high-quality images for physician evaluation and treatment. Additionally, the technologist must provide excellent patient care by applying sound judgment and discretion.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Valid New Jersey Radiology license.
  • ARRT Certification.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Prior experience in CT imaging.

Preferred:

  • CT Certification.
Scheduling Requirements:
  • Evening Shift
  • 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Tuesday to Friday
Essential Functions:
  • Assist radiologists during specialized examinations.
  • Exhibit proficiency in using RIS and PACS systems.
  • Exercise professional judgment and discretion in all imaging tasks.
  • Ensure cleanliness in examination rooms and work areas.
  • Maintain CR cassettes and report any requiring repairs.
  • Keep stock levels adequate in all procedure rooms.
  • Conduct daily calibration and quality assurance checks as needed.
  • Report equipment issues to the supervisor and submit LT work orders as necessary.
  • Utilize RadCode for billing related to specific procedures.
  • Apply radiation protection principles for both self and patients during examinations.
  • Ensure proper positioning and technical settings to achieve diagnostic-quality images.
