We are seeking a physician leader to serve as a Co-Medical Director for our hospital medicine program at Community Regional Medical Center. This is an opportunity to practice clinically while leading a high-performing team.

Partner with the Co-Medical Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for a team of 50 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center.

Collaborate with hospital executives, physician leaders, and service line partners to advance organizational goals and initiatives.
\n - \n
Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the hospital medicine program.
\n - \n
Drive efforts focused on quality improvement, patient experience, operational excellence, and physician engagement.
\n - \n
Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture among physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary team members.
\n - \n
Support the recruitment, retention, development, and engagement of hospital medicine providers.
\n - \n
Champion best practices, clinical excellence, and continuous program improvement.
\n - \n
Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows.
\n - \n
Community Regional Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center.
\n
Qualifications:
\n- \n

Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
\n - \n
Prior hospital medicine leadership experience required.
\n - \n
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build relationships, and drive quality outcomes.
\n - \n
Must live within the Community
\n - \n
H1B visa sponsorship available with dedicated in-house visa, licensing, and credentialing support.

Scheduling:

Work in collaboration with your Co-Medical Director, working 8 clinical shifts each month.
\n - \n
Administrative time is spent at the hospital Monday-Friday, two of the remaining three weeks of the month.

This is a full-time position.
\n
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Co-Medical Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital medicine program. Support will be provided by the System Medical Director, serving as the Co-Medical Director, and by the Associate Medical Director.

Work alongside hospital executives and service line leaders to drive organizational initiatives and achieve hospital goals.
\n - \n
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professional development, and clinical excellence.
\n - \n
Lead performance improvement efforts focused on length of stay, readmissions, patient safety, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance.
\n - \n
Represent the hospital medicine program on committees and interdisciplinary leadership teams.
\n - \n
Maintain an active clinical role caring for hospitalized patients.
\n - \n
Closed ICU environment.
\n - \n
Procedures are not required.
\n - \n
Utilize Epic EMR.
