Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. This position offers 37.5 hours each week, aligning with the school calendar from early August through late May. Orientation starts August 3, with your first day with students on August 6, and you’ll wrap up for the summer on May 27, 2027. Placement is tailored to your skills and areas of interest, ensuring your expertise matches the specific needs of the students you’ll serve.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Hold or be eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Experience or strong interest working in school settings
- Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Commitment to collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to advance student progress
- Adaptable and eager to learn within a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students
- Evaluate students and develop appropriate intervention plans
- Keep thorough records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Participate actively in monthly collaboration meetings, roundtable discussions, and annual performance reviews
- Engage with a regional network of SLPs via an interactive intranet platform
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement and best-practice initiatives
