This facility is seeking a Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

\n

\n

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

\n

\n

Schedule: Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Occasional Saturday rotation: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. about once every three months; No hospital call

\n

\n

Practice Setting: Outpatient and telehealth

\n

\n

Types of Cases: Hematology, oncology, chemotherapy treatment visits, biotherapy treatment visits, follow-up visits, new patient evaluations, complex cancer care, care coordination

\n

\n

Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days

\n

\n

Electronic Medical Record: Epic

\n

\n

Certifications Required: Basic Life Support, Certified Nurse Practitioner in Hematology Oncology, Chemotherapy Certification

\n

\n

Licensure Required: Louisiana license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact license
