Job Description
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth for the 2026-2027 academic year. Four speech-language pathologist positions are available, each offering a part-time schedule of 7.5 hours weekly. Located near Olympia, WA, this on-site role focuses on one dedicated caseload per SLP, ensuring deeper engagement and effective progress for approximately 45-50 students.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
- Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct intervention services and therapy to assigned caseload
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff on student progress and best practices
- Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Stay informed of latest research and approaches in speech-language pathology relevant to school settings
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and school-based regulations
