Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic (HPB) Surgery Opportunity in Miami, Florida
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary surgical oncology program focused on the management of complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases within one of the
nation’s leading integrated healthcare systems.
Requirements:
Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Surgery by the American
Board of Surgery (ABS).
Fellowship training in Hepatobiliary Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Complex General
Surgical Oncology, Abdominal Transplant Surgery, or related advanced HPB training is
required.
Candidates must demonstrate expertise in the surgical management of benign and
malignant diseases of the liver, pancreas, biliary tract, gallbladder, and upper
gastrointestinal system.
Responsibilities include the evaluation, diagnosis, and operative management of
patients with hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignancies, utilizing open, minimally
invasive, and robotic surgical techniques when appropriate.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and develop individualized treatment plans
informed by the latest clinical evidence and national guidelines.
