Salary Range: $50.93 - $61.65 per hour

Job Overview:The primary responsibility of this role is to produce specialized images of specific body parts for medical evaluation.
Qualifications:Required:
- Certification in Radiation Technology from ARRT is mandatory.
- A valid radiology license in New Jersey is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is essential.
Preferred:
- At least two (2) years of experience as a radiology technician is highly desirable.
The Lead Radiologic Technologist will be accountable for:
- Capturing radiographic images or positioning fluoroscopic equipment as directed.
- Minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
- Ensuring the comfort of patients during procedures.
- Selecting and preparing contrast media for radiographic and special examinations.
- Processing radiographic images for PACS integration.
- Verifying patient identity and ensuring the correct body part is indicated on all images.
- Handling x-ray requests efficiently.
- Assisting in the training of student technologists.
- Demonstrating technical skills to student radiographers.
