Multiple full-time positions are available for the 2026/2027 school year, covering a range of roles district-wide, including Special Education Assessment Teacher, Setting III/IV therapeutic classroom support, and center-based Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) programs. These assignments begin August 31, 2026, and extend through the end of the academic year.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License, or eligibility to obtain one through reciprocity
  • Demonstrated skill in developing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Solid understanding of IDEA, state compliance, and special education case management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families and multidisciplinary teams

Desired experience includes:

  • Conducting special education assessments, eligibility determinations, and reporting
  • Experience with ASD, elementary or secondary SPED environments, or Setting III/IV therapeutic programs
  • Proficiency in Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and trauma-informed practices
  • Knowledge of PBIS, MTSS, and behavioral/emotional support frameworks
  • Implementing structured teaching, visual/communication/sensory strategies, and classroom management techniques
