Job Description

This contract-based role spans the full school year and is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists holding the CCC credential, seeking a full-time position in a vibrant learning environment near Ontario, NY. You’ll primarily work with K-6 students, with some involvement at the middle and high school levels, focusing on general education students with speech improvement needs.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary age groups
- Skilled in delivering therapeutic interventions to improve speech and communication in general education populations
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Previous virtual SLP experience appreciated—while in-person services are preferred for younger children, flexibility to engage in virtual delivery as a last resort is valued
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services to students in grades K-6, with occasional service for middle and high school students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized therapy plans, and track progress on communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Maintain student records, documentation, and compliance in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Employ evidence-based practices to foster student progress in general education settings
