Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Previous experience supporting students in a K-12 school environment is highly valued
  • Competency in administering assessments, developing goals, and creating individualized treatment plans
  • Clear communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to provide both group and one-on-one therapy sessions
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation requirements

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language, voice, and fluency screenings and formal assessments
  • Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication challenges
  • Consult with staff and families to promote positive outcomes for diverse learners
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation according to state/federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as a clinical resource
  • Engage in ongoing professional development for best practices and compliance
