Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Previous experience supporting students in a K-12 school environment is highly valued
- Competency in administering assessments, developing goals, and creating individualized treatment plans
- Clear communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to provide both group and one-on-one therapy sessions
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation requirements
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language, voice, and fluency screenings and formal assessments
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication challenges
- Consult with staff and families to promote positive outcomes for diverse learners
- Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary documentation according to state/federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as a clinical resource
- Engage in ongoing professional development for best practices and compliance
