\nOur Associate teachers play a key role in our Montessori classrooms, cultivating high quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool and Kindergarten aged students (birth through 6 years old). This is a full-time position which works alongside trained Montessori Teachers (as part of a teaching team) to deliver on our mission to develop a lifelong love of learning in our students.\n

\nAssociate Responsibilities\n
\n
\n Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;\n
\n
\n Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy;\n
\n
\n Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;\n
\n
\n Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;\n
\n
\n Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.\n
\n
\nAssociate Requirements\n
\n
\n Minimum Required: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework;\n
\n
\n At least 18 years of age\n
\n
\n Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).\n
\n
